Jim Kennedy

Jim joined the Board in 2002 and became Chairman in 2007. His career has been in the food industry, associated with the agribusiness sector. A graduate in economics and agriculture, his early career in irrigated agriculture brought him into the rice industry, based in south western NSW. After 4 years as head of export marketing, he was managing director of the Ricegrowers Group for 13 years during which turnover grew to $700m, with 80% derived from exports of packaged rice products. He was a director of 6 group subsidiaries or joint ventures involved in food manufacture and distribution in Australia, PNG, Belgium and UK. In 2002 he completed a 5 year assignment as executive director of the Prime Ministers Supermarket to Asia Council, involved in building branded food exports.

He has also been a non executive Director of Queensland Sugar Ltd, Golden Circle Ltd, Tandou Ltd, and Food Science Australia. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Institutes of Export and Management and a foundation member of AICD. He was inaugural National Export Hero, a member of the National Trade Policy Council, and was awarded a Centenary of Federation Medal for contribution to the food industry.

David Herliy

David spent 20 years in merchant banking during which time he gained experience in the money markets, M&A, debt and equity raising; and investing. From 1992-1997 he was a Director of Paul Ramsay Group where he was part of the team that raised over $1bn by way of structured finance, bank consortia, joint ventures, equity raising and IPOs.

Since 1976, he has been Chairman/Board member at Government owned enterprises, not for profit, ASX listed companies and SMEs.

David is currently Chariman of a number of SME's.

David Keyte

David is an investment banker and qualified lawyer and accountant with over 15 years corporate advisory experience principally in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets . He has held the position of Director at a number of Australian stockbroking/corporate finance firms. In that capacity, David has advised on a variety of food and agribusiness transactions including for a number of publicly listed agribusiness companies.

David has a bachelor of economics and a bachelor of laws, is a CPA, a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an associate member of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association.

Patrick Walsh

Patrick is the Managing Director of a Perth based consulting firm specialising in strategy, process improvements and Mentoring. He is also a Board member of an independent provider of evidence based therapy services for young children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder or development delay.

Previous working history includes, Managing Director at Allight, a Perth based equipment manufacturing and distribution company supplying the mining, hire and construction industries with mobile lighting Towers, pumps, Generating sets and Perkins engines.

Four years building and operating a UK consultancy specialising in lean manufacturing, quality systems, human resource management, employment law and occupational health and safety.

Six years experience as a director of a multinational machine tool manufacturing organisation based in the UK, with responsibility for operations, quality control, occupational health and safety and human resources management.

Born in Fremantle WA and educated in Perth and the UK and holds an MBA from Warwick University (UK).

David Lock

David joined the Craig Mostyn Group in 1996. Following roles as the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Operating Officer, he was appointed <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />CEO of  the Group in 2004. In early 2006, David relocated the Group’s head office to Perth, WA, in order to increase strategic focus on the Group’s core operating divisions of Meat & Livestock, Recycling and Food, as well as increase the Group’s influence with government levels. David was appointed chairman of the FIA of WA in 2008, a position he still holds.

 

David is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce of University of New South Wales. Prior to joining Craig Mostyn Group, David worked for Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) in Sydney, Toronto, Canada (5 years) and in Birmingham, UK (1 year). His experience was primarily in consulting services and insolvency, including turn arounds and strategic planning for a diverse range of manufacturing

Andrew Mostyn

Andrew spent the first 4 years of his working life as an accountant in shipping company Patrick Agencies before joining Craig Mostyn & Co Pty Ltd in 1986.  He has held a position on the Board of CM’s various companies since 1993.  As part of his interest in business, the community and sport he sits on a number of committees aligned in those areas such as the NSW and WA Family Business Association Committees since 2000, WA Ambassador for the charity Hands Across the Water and Western Force Promotions. Andrew is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
