In the 1990s, Craig Mostyn Group purchased Linley Valley Pork and has continued to expand the brand into a growing national and international market.
In 2003, we designed and built our specialised pork processing facility the supply quality pork products across Australia. Linley Valley Pork has grown to become a market leader in the humane and organic processing of livestock.
George Craig and Robert L. Mostyn established the business in 1923. Our livestock has been raised on free-range farms in the great southern region of Western Australia for over 30 years. We believe the best quality pork comes from the most cared-for animal. That’s why more than a quarter of our herd is free-range. The balance of our livestock is group housed where they are cared for according to the highest standards of animal welfare.
The pigs are fed a nutritious diet of natural grain. Our farmers are passionate about caring for the livestock and their surrounding environment. This results in the healthiest and most flavoursome pork. In other words, what’s good for our animals is good for us.
The Linley Valley Pork’s abattoir site is located east of Perth in Wooroloo. This is where we built our state-of-the-art facility from scratch in 2003. We’ve continued to upgrade our processing with cutting-edge technology to create one of the world’s finest processing facilities.
Recent upgrades include an automated product transfer and blast freezing system to our packaging facility. This has allowed us to expand our exporting of pork products in Australia and worldwide. Linley Valley Pork is currently the largest exporter of pork in Australia servicing customers in Singapore and other international markets.
Linley Valley Pork offers a range of fresh chilled and frozen pork products. Our quality pork products are available in butchers, supermarkets and restaurants across Australia. We supply and deliver our primal cuts and sides directly to butchers and restaurants. Pre-packed pork cuts are available to retailers and supermarkets. We also offer our skills and expertise to provide a professional slaughter service.
Major accreditations include HACCP Australia, SQF, BSI, Livestock Welfare Certified System & AQIS. We are also the proud sponsors of the National Netball League team, West Coast Fever.
